Do you already have the perfect property or need to locate a property to build your dream home? In either case, let Dunhill Builders guide you through the process to make your dreams a reality. At Dunhill Builders, our custom building process is enjoyable and stress-free. As our client, you’ll have access to a special collection of floor plans that can be tailored to your needs or we can design an entirely new home with our guidance. With Dunhill Builders, you are assured dedicated project management, solid construction, and exceptional value.
Dunhill Custom-Build Process:
- An Initial Meeting: The first meeting is our opportunity to get to know each other, discuss the options available for building your custom dream home, and review your lot information whether it be one your already selected or require we locate for you.
- Design and Budgeting: As a team, we will help you modify one of our existing floor plans or fully design a new home. This stage also involves developing and refining the construction budget. We work with you to design your dream home within your budget.
- Final Budget and Financing: At this stage, the design is completed and Dunhill Builders prepares your final budget. With the final budget and plans completed, you are able to obtain financing.
- Permitting: Dunhill Builders will submit and navigate the process for obtaining the necessary permits for construction.
- Selections: During the permitting process and prior to the onset of construction Dunhill Builders works with its client to finalize exterior and interior selections.
- Construction: With all the preliminary work complete, this is when your dreams come to life. Dunhill Builders manages all aspects of the construction process and keeps our client informed throughout the process. We encourage our clients to schedule frequent site visits to view in-person progress.
- Completion and Delivery: At this stage, we take our clients on a final walk through demonstrating the unique features of their dream home. We hand the keys over and pave the way to living their dreams.

We bought our home very early in construction, so we were able to customize the finishes and fixtures and make some structural changes to the house. At first, we were nervous that customizing a house would be overwhelming, but Barry and Stan made the process so simple. Either Barry or Stan accompanied us to every vendor meeting for making selections, which made everything much less stressful. Barry consistently showed us that he cared that we were going to love our house. Our home turned out better than we could have ever imagined. After we moved in, Barry was incredibly responsive to our warranty requests. Throughout the warranty period, BJ continued the exemplary Dunhill service we had become accustomed to throughout the entire home building process. We cannot recommend working with Dunhill strongly enough. Our 3-year-old daughter considers Barry, Stan, and BJ to be some of her best friends. We know this is a result of the care that they show to everything that goes into one of their homes, especially the people themselves.
We love every aspect of our new home in Vienna. We toured a lot of houses and as soon as we walked into this one, we could tell the Dunhill team thought through and planned every inch of the house meticulously. There is not a wasted corner or room in the house. The house has everything from the right floor plan and layout (especially the height of ceilings) to custom treatments, like the trim and master vanity. Everyone that we welcome into our home compliments us on something different. In addition to the quality product, Barry, Stan and team are first rate people to work with; whenever we have a question or request, there’s an instant response.
